Meet Dr. Smaranda Torres-Floca

Dr. Smaranda Torres-Floca is originally from Romania, where she graduated in 2002 from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” in Bucharest.

 

Dr. Torres chose a dental career because of her desire to help others, to alleviate pain and to help people smile with confidence.

 

In Canada, she pursued a very competitive selection program for the international dentists, granting her admission to the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba, from which she graduated in 2010.

 

Dr. Torres likes to keep herself updated by taking courses to learn the latest technologies and improve her knowledge in all aspects of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative procedures, to oral surgery and Invisalign treatment. Her ultimate goal is to deliver the best possible care to meet her patients’ needs.

 

Smaranda will always listen to you and to your concerns. She will treat you like she would treat a member of her family, and will strive to offer you the most positive and relaxing dental experience.

 

Dr. Torres is currently accepting new patients. She speaks English, French, Romanian and Spanish.
