Meet Dr. Komal Dhir

A Vancouver native, Dr. Komal Dhir trained at the Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, one of the top dental schools in North America. He practiced in Seattle and Downtown Vancouver before joining Austin Avenue Dental, and is a member of both the Canadian Dental Association and the British Columbia Dental Association.
Dr. Dhir’s practice focuses on general dentistry — routine teeth cleanings and dental X-rays are the foundation of the preventive care he provides. He’s known for his gentle, patient-centered approach, especially with nervous and anxious patients — taking the time to explain treatment clearly and help patients build lasting, positive oral health habits.

Yes, we accept new CDCP patients with direct billing available.
What should I bring to my first visit?
A valid ID and your insurance card if you have one. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to complete new patient paperwork.
